Fishlab is a single proprietor firm owned by Kirsten Engell-Sørensen. Fishlab has assignments in Denmark and worldwide as a partner in the aquaculture sector and in the sector of environmental protection. The company has an extensive collaboration with experts, consulting companies and industries in both fields.

 

Fishlab is currently involved in fish egg and larvae surveys in Fehmarn Belt regarding baseline investigations of the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link.

Fishlab is currently involved in EC projects in framework programme no. 5, 6 and 7 developing new technology and knowhow in the European aquaculture industry.  The company has had a leading role in both project planning and proposal writing, project co-ordination, financial matters and evaluation.

Fishlab is directly involved in development, designing, construction, management planning, surveillance and training of personnel of aquaculture enterprises in Denmark and Asia.
